SHEKonnect: Providing Connection and Empowering Education for Teen Girls

We’ve all been there. Friend squabbles. Managing body image. Figuring out next steps in life. As girls navigate their teenage years, it’s inevitable that challenges will come. And when they do, oftentimes they’ll learn and grow with the help and wisdom from trusted loved ones.  

But, for some girls growing up in a non-traditional home or without the support of a mother, , they’re left to figure it all out alone, or find alternate resources. This is  where SHEKonnect comes in.  

SHEKonnect: A Resource for Empowerment 
At SHEKonnect, we empower teen girls that are growing up in those non-traditional settings.. Our mission embraces teen girls who have experienced the loss of their mother or the absence of maternal support, and creates a pathway to hope, confidence, and life skills that connect to their future success. 

Simply put, SHEKonnect fills the gaps when it comes to health and wellness, college and career exploration, and financial literacy. The tools. The knowledge. The community support. 

We are not here to focus on the "why" behind a girl’s situation. We are here because all teen girls —no matter their circumstances—deserve to thrive.
